Corrado out with an upper body injury. Makes the decisions on defence easier.

Never thought I'd say I wish Juice was playing.

I think we see the project Sbisa will be and Weaver is not a long term solution.

Turnovers by Edler and Sbisa should be fun this year!

I'd like to see Alex back with the twins for a few shifts.

Highlight of the game for me was Matthias dropping hanzal with a solid crosscheck after the whistle.

This is going to be a very interesting season with this D-corp. Hope they stay healthy so we don't have to see a steady diet of Weber.
Sbisa and Edler, two space cadets in the same bakery... creating one delicious turnover after another. The only one back there tonight with seemingly any hockey intelligence was Tanev.
I'm sorry, but Vey is not ready to be an NHL centerman. Atrocious and weak in his own zone.
If this game proved anything, it shows that our young promising prospects need to get lots of minutes in the A to further develop their pro game. I'd like to see them earn a recall mid-season.

The game was a dog's breakfast of defensive miscues & face off ineptitude.
There was little to cheer about.

Less Canucks embarrassment please.

case of post loss depression there Herb?Vancouver Sun wrote: He looked like a kid. He had a couple of impressive plays with the puck, a couple of suspect moments without it... “He looks like he has played a while in the league. That’s a good sign,” Canucks head coach Willie Desjardins said. “I thought he was pretty good again tonight. I think he’s still a young guy, too, and he’s got to learn the league a little bit. But I thought he made some good offensive plays. Defensively he was OK — I don’t know if he was great. He’s a guy that will get better and I know he’ll work at it.”

Vey definitely is just a skilled forward, he shouldn't be on the PK at this point nor be one of our centerman.
Keep him as a top 6 winger and use him on the #1 powerplay unit.

Willie Desjardins boy - Linden Vey is not deserving of a starting role on this team.
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

If Vey isn't the 3C, does it go to Horvat by default?
