No but that game winner was a soft floater he watched the whole way. Demko doesn't let those in.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 9:26 pmlol. Goaltending hasn’t been the problem. He's been flukey a bit and that shit ends eventually.

Why? Silovs was lights out again. That last one through a ton of traffic…..Demmer has let those in before.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 9:25 pm When is Demko back? It must be soon...the kid has been a revelation but we need our starter back

Kane intentional crosscheck to the face of Myers. Called it high sticking? WTF? Should have been a major.
I can't believe Silovs. He's amazing and crazy. I don't think he knows he's crazy.
Canucks almost with the comeback sure made the rink quiet. Put doubt into the Oilers.
Looking forward to the next game.

The difference I see with Silovs is how much he moves in net compared to Demko. He's like a young bronco, aggressive and active. Hopefully Clarkie harnesses it in to where he anticipates and more glides than jabs. That last goal, I'm sure he'd like it back, but it was a credible shot.Mëds wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 9:29 pmWhy? BTW, any goalie with the "No Fucks To Give" boulders for stones to go charge out - Hasek-esque - to the top of the circles to poke the puck away from a barreling Evander Kane can get my benefit of the doubt.
I say start him next game unless Demko is 100%.

I haven't seen the replays, and ESPN doesn't show/know shit.
Was that last goal deflected?

Tocchet post game:
“We need to get some guys going,” says Rick Tocchet. “You can’t win with only 12 guys.”
On the PP: “Not good enough + they know it.”
On Pettersson: “He needs to get going, I don’t know what else to say.”
On the final goal: “Too many mistakes. Too many soft plays.”

I’ll finally join the dog pile. If you’re injured, excuse yourself and don’t dress. If you’re hurt, play through it like a man. If you lack the compete level your teammates posess, go away. Go be an actuator or a chiropractor or a bone smoker on the Cap Reserve. It’s like he’s a kitten with a thorn in his paw or a clipped whisker.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 8:52 pm It’s like the game is too fast for Petey, lol. WTF happened to this guy?
Seriously, start participating in the fight. Your countrymen are showing a fair bit more heart and grit than you. 6 ft 3, 127 pounds. A stiff breeze would knock this player over.
Are you worth 11.6 million dollars next year ‘Lil’ Petey or 11.6,million pesos?
Grow a heart and a set of nuts to match. What a bum.

I’ve never seen a supposed star of the game (Pettersson) play as uninspired hockey as he has in the playoffs. At least Marner tries but Petey he just seems so pitiful out there. It’s fucking weird, zero magic whatsoever.

If EP40 isn't scoring.....ok, whatever. But one thing I liked about his 'old' game was how he would hustle back when he lost a puck, and work his ass off to get it back. He was "determined ". Now he's "nonchalant ". He has his moments, but still...
The rest of the forwards are turning it up. He's stuck in neutral.
