And now Medster is on an unhappy winning streak. :scowl:

If this were any other team it wouldn’t be a streak with just the back to back wins…..but the Constipated Whale outfit takes what it can get.

Speaking of hockey….

JT McDavid showing his stuff tonight for the 6th goal. Lol. FFS, how bad is Ottawa that Miller looks like McDoofus in New York on that rush!?

One can only hope that we still see big change.

Well if they do decide to trade Miller at peak value that certainly won’t hurt.

Schenn is the best partner not named Tanev for Hughes.
I like his goal better than Miller’s, and Miller’s was awesome.

Schenn and Hughes were a very good pairing in QH's rookie season. Sometimes a 3rd pairing guy can be a top-4 when the chemistry is right.

I actually prefer Schenn to Tanev because he's way tougher, and unless he crashes himself into the wall he's sturdier. He's the only guy on the Canucks right now that will go to bat for another teammate at any time.

He is slow, but looks to be keeping up. And having a skater like Hughes with him makes the pair serviceable.
He’s the best at clearing out the front of the net on the PK, something most of the others don’t do well.
For now he’s the best option available.

This is great to see. Gives time for us to slowly working Hamonic back in the lineup whenever he's rdy. He can start in the 3rd paring and slowly get back up to speed.

Keep Hamonic on the third pair. I’m not a fan. Rather stick with Schenn. If Schenn can keep up, maybe a Hughes-Schenn pairing can be similar to what Ottawa had in their Karlsson-Methot pairing a few years back? It’s also nice that Schenn has more grit to bite back if anyone takes liberties towards Hughes, allowing Hughes to play with more confidence.

But I expect Green to move Hamonic back with Hughes because ….Green. :hmmm:

Green does not care about success, he only cares that he and his minions do what they want to do. Schenn will be out as soon as Hamonic is back.

Schenn has the same ppg % as Petey and better than Brockster, just saying.

Schenn had a good game, but he is not an everyday player at this point of his career. If he were paired with Quinn and had to play heavy minutes every night, you will see why. Schenn was brought back to be the 7/8 and for RHD depth. So far, he's done his job.

I'm not a big fan of Hamonic but clearly asides from his off-ice issues, has been very good for the team this season.

What has to happen is finding a solid, everyday Dman for the 3rd pairing so you'd never have to see Burroughs again.
