I’m pretty sure it’s the same in most NHL cities that one of the assistants handles the d corps and their ice time allotment . But please continue on with the conspiracy theory it’s highly amusing.micky107 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 18, 2018 12:53 am https://twitter.com/BlakePriceTSN/statu ... 8528186368
Says he has no say on the D, sure!
As for Del Zotto; At least someone else is noticing shit.

Now where are those kind of hits when we "DO" need them? Where are they when someone takes a run at one of our players?
No where, that's where.

In three months, Blob, you'll be doing the same. I'd be willing to wager.

I'll bet the Jimbro would have selected Jonathan Dahlen with that 2nd.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 5:57 pmSo that’s how it works? The Canucks would have picked Asplund. Thanks for letting everyone know
Damn! It would have been nice to have a player like that in the system...

It seems they liked Dahlen at that draft.Strangelove wrote: ↑Sun Nov 18, 2018 7:50 pmI'll bet the Jimbro would have selected Jonathan Dahlen with that 2nd.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 5:57 pmSo that’s how it works? The Canucks would have picked Asplund. Thanks for letting everyone know

Coulda said McCann, prospect and a 5th for EG, hang onto pick #33
Then they could have leveraged a different asset out of Ottawa for the biter.

Blob, didn't you just (finally) admit The Guds is a number 4?
(a big nasty asshole number 4)
Yeahno, McCann + 2nd is a cheap price for dat dere
... and then the genius goes out and gets the guy he would have drafted with that pick for the washed-up "biter".
When will you stop resisting and fall madly in love with Jimbro good buddy?

I’d say he’s a solid #5. Kinda guy who COULD slide up into the top 4 in the even of injuries but I wouldn’t want to see him playing 22 min a night long term. I think he’s well suited to play 18-19 min a night and anchor a 3rd pair and play some PK. Sure he’s had a solid (for him) start to the year along with Hutton. But much like Eriksson he was putrid over most of his first two seasons here.Strangelove wrote: ↑Sun Nov 18, 2018 8:02 pm Blob, didn't you just (finally) admit The Guds is a number 4?

22 mins per night is #2 minutes, not #4, and you did say in this thread that he's looking like a #4 (or #5) this season:Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Mon Nov 19, 2018 10:55 amI’d say he’s a solid #5. "A decent #4"Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 5:49 pm Gudbranson has... looked like a decent 4/5 guy. Hopefully he keeps it up.
Well 18-19 mins per night is #4 territory.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Mon Nov 19, 2018 10:55 am I think he’s well suited to play 18-19 min a night and anchor a 3rd pair and play some PK.
