I wonder if Scott Arniel gets another NHL opportunity? He didn't get a good opportunity in Columbus, but he didn't exactly exceed expectations while there.

I wonder if Guy Boucher would be a good candidate for this team. He's known as being very methodical. Sounds like someone Gillis would like if Gillis was to replace a guy who preferred to flip a coin on important decisions.

Makes no sense.

I would agree his time is up. You have an aging line-up with 8 players with no trade clauses. The window is closing quick and you need to try and stretch it out as long as possible.

I would if fired him before that season even started but after the SC run I gave him 1 more season. I totally put the issue of coaching and another 4 game out this season on Gillis. I don't understand how he cannot see what majority of fans see that this team was stale and the system was too rigid for new players to come in.
