Just 9 more years and he'll be a forty point guy.
Seriously, that's odd how similar his 2 years are.

Bob Mckenzie:
There's Panarin's approx contract.
BUF and Jeff Skinner, who is a pending UFA, are closing in on an eight-year extension.
It’s expected to have an AAV of $9M or thereabouts.

A long time ago, a baseball player remarked: "If I owned a ballclub, I'd hire a $5,000 coach and a $15,000 scout."
Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
Confirmed. Skinner $9M x 8 years. Insane. Absolutely nuts.
Jeff Skinner now makes $3M more than Sidney Crosby.
While I get that Crosby signed when the cap was lower, this is still retarded.
I would also venture to say that we won't see Benning signing Boeser for much less than that now.

Hey, it's an overpayment (all UFA deals are).Meds wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 7:23 pm Confirmed. Skinner $9M x 8 years. Insane. Absolutely nuts.

Keep in mind they bought 8 UFA years here.
Skinner is one of the greatest goal-scorers in the league.
Take a look at the chart fishboy just posted:
viewtopic.php?p=343381#p343381
He spent most of the last few years with linemates like Riley Nash and Joni Pitkanen.
With Eichel last season he put up 40... and was slowed in late Feb with a nagging ankle sprain.
(was on pace for 50 goals before that)
I've had Skinner for a few years in my keeper league, he's a goal-scoring machine.
Doesn't matter what Crosby gets, that deal was signed 7 years ago...

Boeser is RFA. Boeser hasn’t scored 40 goals in a season. I think a 3-5 year deal is in order. Around 7ish

3 at 6, 4 at 6.5 or 5 at 7 actually seems about right.
I wouldn’t go any longer on term.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
If he's smart he won't either. Sure there are possibilities of injuries but that aside I think he is going to keep getting better. Anywhere at 3-5 with the numbers you outline I think are fair. Now if he wants 8 years at 8 you have to think long and hard if you're Benning. But I think some type of bridge will do it.BladesofSteel wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 9:33 pm 3 at 6, 4 at 6.5 or 5 at 7 actually seems about right.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
I have no doubt a 6 year deal will be the sweet spot for both sides as far as term.
Hard to say how much per, but we'd be fortunate to get him at $7.5M x 6 I think.

DOYLE WOULD’VE RATHER HAD KEVIN HAYES AT 7 YEARS 7 MILLION PER INSTEAD OF J.T. MILLER FOR A LATE 1ST RD PICK
Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
I just wanna get the guy signed! Obvious reasons.
Gotta admit, one of those reasons is to shut-up the Wild hockey forums. They are very sure they have him on the way.
Get this; they think we'd have to "ADD" something to Brock to get Zucker.
Moronians.

Eyes are too close together anyways. >>>>>>>>>>>>
Wears number 16.
Why do they want to move him?
Same reason we should stay away.
Over paid for his production.
He's had good line-mates in Minny.
28 in January. Not old but older then our new core.
Like Sutter.
Eriksson.
Etc.
Markstrom gets a pass on age.
