Was I alone in wanting to stay a mile away from this tool. I know Doc had a trading hard-on for Vancouver to sign him and I recall he wasn't alone.

DOYLE WOULD’VE RATHER HAD KEVIN HAYES AT 7 YEARS 7 MILLION PER INSTEAD OF J.T. MILLER FOR A LATE 1ST RD PICK

He’s a good 8/9 guy and he got a contract reflecting that. It’s a two way deal, 700 K at the NHL level and probably 1/3 of that to play in the minors. Troy Stecher on the other hand got a two year one way deal at 1.7 million per year. 3.4 million guaranteed money. Pretty easy to see which player GMs value more considering the Canucks also still tried to sign him to a similar deal that Detroit did.

3.4 million guaranteed. Five times the salary of Delzaster
Curious if he’s going to start ripping off cups in the future like Bonino did. Two time Cup winner, Nick the Stick Bonino. I think the Penguins miss him greatly. They haven’t sipped from the Cup since he left.
Hard to know if Stecher will enjoy that type of post season success, but one day he might.

My bad I thought you were referring to the list of guys I provided Lizzy with that were worse players than Stecher. Guys like Sbisa, Porn Skag, Gudbranson, Pouliott etc.

Still a lot more than anyone guaranteed Del Zotto for the coming year. A lot more. Because he’s better, far better....Strangelove wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 8:52 pm$2,666,667 guaranteed after they buy him out in the summer.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
So what were the expectations of all those guys I listed? I mean some of them were making 3-4 million bucks and they were even shittier than Stecher. Every last one of them.
