Demko could have had the same season in NY that he had in Van and he would have won it.....location, location, location.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Mon May 09, 2022 5:34 pmThere was a comparison going on a while back...I think
Both are young premium tenders with She's-squirtin' getting the Vezina this year behind an all-star D while Demko has the chaos giraffe losing pucks in his feet in front of Demko 25 minutes a night yet still posts excellent numbers

Gotcha...thanks.
Mentioned Gretzky on Spittin' Chiclets the other day, it's is a good listen.
He tells a Lee Fogolin story...
One season, he awoke in Hartford, Connecticut with a screaming toothache. He called long distance to his sister-in-law, a dental hygienist. "Wait til morning," she said. "I can’t," said Fogolin. "I have to play tomorrow."
Then he went to his hotel room closet, dismantled a coat-hanger, made a small hook and ripped the cap off his offending molar. In the game the next night, he beat up Hartford’s Warren Miller, whose errant stick had cut him for six stitches outside the mouth

Hmmm... I always liked Trotz. If Coach Gabby decides to move on if he gets a better offer elsewhere, I'd like to see us go for Trotz. I wouldn't mind Rocket Tocchet as well, maybe as a backup option.Megaterio Llamas wrote: ↑Mon May 09, 2022 8:51 amRutherford and Allvin have a strong newl option suddenly.

Caught this in the comments of your link...
Edit: re Trotz obviously.
1. Jack Adams
2. Final four loss to eventual Cup champ
3. Final four loss to eventual Cup champ
4. 13-game road trip, 50 games in 99 days to end season
...there has to be more to his canning than meets the eye.
