I think if you check the cumulative save pctg of playoff teams goalies you will be above .915 as a committee
ALL the more reason to say adios to your amigo Nilsson.
Nilssy: 3.44gaa - .901%
vs Marky: 2.71gaa - .912%
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Thing is their goaltending probably cost them a playoff spot.

Vancouver’s might have cost them a draft position or two.

Islanders 2017-18 >>> Canucks 2017-18 in terms of skaters. Regardless of injuries, they had a far superior roster.

Snow has made two of the best trades in recent history, trading Blobbees beloved Hamonic to his beloved Flames and trading Reinhart to INs beloved Oiler rebuild. Snow has done fine, but goaltending is his nemesis.

The Islanders gonna look "far superior" than the Canucks without Tavares, Bubbles?

I said their roster during this season was far superior to Vancouver’s. Without Tavares who knows ? Who knows what Snow will do with Tavares off the books. Who knows what Vancouver will look like with that cap money burning a hole in Ignitowskis jeans. Maybe he sets the team up with another couple of Loui Erikssons

I think Islanders have better forwards and better D. Canucks have marginally better goaltending

Put a top 15 goalie on NYI and they ar a playoff team. Put a top goalie on Vancouver and they might crack 80 points

From last night... he put a real licking on him!

And in November Marchand kissed Komarov on the cheek

... and Komarov said he liked it. :?

Some say Willie D is hoping for the gig.
Maybe, but I doubt it.

I said from the get-go Willie was a placeholder for Travis.

This is textbook build-a-team, well it's not in the textbooks yet...
