McDavid isn’t wrong, should have been a tripping penalty

I agree. It's a missed call. But they happen alot, and he's bitching about it in pre-season and drops a 2 minute speech on it.

He's a baby. He's still pissed about the playoffs and how when you actually have to fight through stuff he can't dominate at will.

Tanev is not a dirty player, so it's not an intentional trip. McDoofus goes to the net and cuts hard across and literally skates himself right over Tanev's stick which is pretty much where any defender would have it, on the ice to prevent the left shooting attacker coming down on his back hand from easily pulling the puck to the forehand right above the crease.....McDavid wants an unimpeded path and an easy goal, and he's whining that when he doesn't get that he doesn't get a PP.

It should have been called, but he's whining about it being a dangerous trip.....it's a dangerous game and you want to cut into the top of the crease you are taking a chance.

These types of players would have died in the playoffs in the '70's.

Stfu and be better...

Shitty call.

Fight through it.

Bad break.

Fight through it.

Soft goal.

Fight through it (Luongo).

This is what makes a Superstar out of a great hockey player.

This is what makes a Petr Forsbeg instead of a Markus Naslund.

Höglander has the Foppa mentality, but he is a wee bit too short.
He can still become a great player, but not as good as Foppa.

There have been lots of players with Foppa mentality, some of whom have committed suicide, but rarely are there players with Foppa skill and mentality.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Yes. Foppa, while very skilled, and tough (Lost his spleen), but...he also played like a Euro soccer player.

Four points in three pre-season games for Arizona. Maybe about to have that 90-point season now...

Far and away the worst contract Vancouver has ever signed. Probably didn’t need his uniform washed most nights. Three hits one season. How does that happen? Easily my all time most hated Canuck.

Canadiens' Carey Price voluntarily enters NHL's player assistance program
Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price will be away from the team indefinitely after voluntarily entering the NHL/NHLPA player assistance program.
No further details were provided in a statement from the NHL. Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin will meet with media later Thursday morning.
Evolving story.
