Hambone and Poolman aren't doing bad for third pairing righty types either.

Mr Aquilini takes care of his boys...
Franky is a kid with an ant farm, poking around & playing god. His Canucks generosity is not benevolent.
IMO - of course.
Whatever it is Sage, he has an undeniable knack for acquiring bottom pairing right hand shooting defensemen. He has five in the Canucks lineup that we all see most nights, and another six down in Abby when Brady Keeper returns that I watch as well.

I think we have to admit, it's a gift :)
Franky's special 'gift' is both a skill & an unwelcome present to Canucks fans.

That's entertainment folks! :)
Less Canucks embarrassment please.

YUGE! Rob Blake fan. Doyle would trade our core group with theirs in a heartbeat.

A budget team or a rebuilding team doesn't care about the cap.

Myers at $1M in real dollars has positive value...
The way I understand it:
The end of the Myers contract (5 & 6M salary + bonus in final 2 years with 6M cap hit) is richer than the final year of the Ericksson one. Ericksson was
owed 4M in final year with 6M cap hit. Benning didn't have much luck trading him, until doing so for a bigger cap contract. Only superior Myers performance or sweeteners will entice teams to trade for him.

Rosy sunglasses don't help.
Well I don't think you understand this correctly.

When Eriksson was traded he was owed $3M. (bonus already paid by Canucks)

If Myers is traded as I say on July 2, 2023 he will be owed $1M. (bonus paid by Canucks)

Both contracts coming with a $6M cap-hit for one year.

No rosy sunglasses here, just the facts.

It wasn't Loui straight up for OEL, it was a mega trade, so how do you know how much of a factor it was to take on Loui? :eh:

No rosy sunglasses here, just the facts.

Yes like the Coyotes. They ass rammed Benning to get out of Eriksson and Beagles tickets.
Straight up bullshit...

Myers contract is not a garbage contract in 2023.

Doyle is avoiding this one like the plague. He knows that picking Turcotte ahead of Seider, Zegras, Podkolzin and Cozens was terri-bad and then he follows that up by drafting Byfield ahead of Raymond of all people, Stutzle, Drysdale, Lundell, Mercer etc was even more terri-bad. There’s no winning this for Tanner. With how Jack Quinn is ripping up the A j guarantee you Blake will wish he had

The kings could’ve been so much better. Stevie Y is laughing as well as Buffalo, Anaheim, Vancouver, Ottawa etc

Ok so the Coyotes extracted a good haul for taking on a year of Loui, Beagle and Roussel, if you don’t like the term ass ramming. They also rid themselves of a massive long term contract in OEL who was underperforming big time.

Myers cap hit will be garbage in 2023. His million dollar salary will be fine. He will still cost something decent to move.

I think it’s neat that you think I actually give a fuck about Rob Blake and the Kings. Just like you think I’m a massive fan of Pierre Dorion and the Sens. Keep on keepin on.

The Coyotes were ass rammed in that deal, you're the only one who says otherwise...

No, he will be a positive contract in 2023 @ $1M in real dollars, returning something like a 3rd.

Only contenders don't like to add big cap-hits, so trade him to a budget/rebuilding team.

It costs you when you trade a player who is overpaid in real dollars, cap-hit not so much.

The team acquiring this 20 minute RSD @ $1M will be saving million$$ in real dollars compared to other options.
