31 teams X 4 top four dee = 124.

You must have set up a lot of soccer fields back in the day. I’ve never seen a person move the goalposts as often as yourself.

I don’t think you even know you’re doing it you do it so often. Lol

As an asside Gudbranson’s icetime decreased sharply over his last ten regular season games and even more in the playoffs. Seems they figured out fairly quickly he can’t sustain a decent level of play for more than a few games.

So that’s why you do it. For the comedy.

I gotta say Doc. You’re more considerate than I gave you credit for.....making sure there’s something for UDL to show up for.

Barzal and Beauvillier for Reinhart
Hall for Larson
Lottery pick and two 2nds for Hamonic

Trading for young D-men is treacherous, Benning isn’t the only one who ventured down this path of premium prices for young D-men. Draft them like Benning does is the best:

In the first 3 rounds of 5 drafts, Benning has drafted 5 defenceman

In the first 3 rounds of 6 drafts Gillis drafted 2 defenceman - Sauve and Connauton

The Benning Plan requires patience but unfortunately there are some, a lot, in this city who cannot handle a rebuild

You win from the net out (see Blob wax on poetically about the Blues defence for evidence of that). Turtling Wingers are the least importance - 4th on the list after - goaltending, defence and centres, Benning is working diligently building up all 3 of those important areas of the ice. The Bruins and Blues aren’t in this conversation without Binnington or Rask. Benning drafts goalies, Gillis didn’t (Cannata). Blobs beloved Flames have terrible goaltending, just awful, which was why they were first round fodder, the Canucks have goaltending now and in the future but that don’t matter to Blob, the Flames have a Turtling winger, all that matters to him
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Flyers trade Radko Gudas to the Capitals for Matt Niskanen.

Philly will retains 30% of Gudas salary, so the Caps gain some cap space and gain a big power RD.

https://puckprose.com/2019/06/14/washin ... dko-gudas/
Gudas (to Caps) is decent defensively and incredibly fond of shooting from the right point.

Niskanen is considerably weaker, both offensively and defensively, but shoots the puck better. Doesn't make sense for Philadelphia.

In other news Eberle has re-signed with the NYI to a 5 year contract extension @ $5.5M per.

Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

That's a nice piece of the pie for Eberle. Takes him to 33.
Querry; Have they got their stadium situation resolved? (permanently).

By end of contact, he has made close to 60million playing hockey. Good on him.

The current plan for the team is to play 20 games this season at the Coliseum, and then 48 games in Nassau over the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons. Barclays Center has approximately half of the Islanders home games over the next three seasons.
mmm/ Guess it aint ever getting a permanent solution.
Which one has the door offside prob/ Barclays?

Guess there just isn't enough money in the area.
