Dreger saying Kenny boy Holland has been in contact with Evander Kane's agent Dan Milstein.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Kane Camp Interested in Vancouver?

I wonder if JR would be interested? I always liked Kane, but I can see that he can be a bit of a prima donna away from the rink. As a player, he delivers though and is very consistent scorer. If he can had for cheap (say $1.5M) on a one year deal, I'd seriously consider it.

I think you need to do your due diligence and find out why he has been chased from every team he has ever played on. There are some rumblings but I have no idea how true they are that some of the players leadership group are already a little disgruntled by Pettersson and his entitlement mentality. Again, I have no idea if this is true but if players like Miller who are alpha males are already upset, for lack of a better word, with someone like Pettersson how do you think they will respond to Kane?
I agree his on ice performance can only benefit the club but at the risk of upsetting a fragile dressing room? I suppose if it was a contract for the rest of this year at league minimum I'd bite.

For those asking, no interest shown by the Canucks in UFA Evander Kane today.
Sources say Kane is looking for a Cup contender.
No shortage of teams have called his agent.

Why didn't you place those links in the Micky Links thread?Micky wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 7:00 pmOilers?Rick Dhaliwal @DhaliwalSports .LINK

Isn't that why it was created?
Did you not receive today's memo?
Also, Skyo mentioned the Oilers-as-per-Dreger thing at the top of the page...

Yup. sign him to this year and next for $1.125. If he works, great. If he doesn't, trade him for a 5th.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 6:08 pm I think you need to do your due diligence and find out why he has been chased from every team he has ever played on. I do think the Oilers are a good fit.
Kane is severely fucked up... but so are the Oil.
If they can get him cheep for the rest of the year and get a #1 goalie in, why not, maybe they get lucky, get on a roll.
But if the reports are true that half the league is interested in him, what are the chances...

Kane is a train wreck so really my opinion is which teams do I want to see him help implode.
leaves
Flames
Oilers
Bruins
NY Rangers
There’s a few off the top of my head! Probably in that order as well.

Teams always seem to recover quite well after the Kane-cer is removed.

The guy is flat out a good hockey player. But he seems like a shitty human. I’m not sure that this iteration of the Vancouver Canucks signing Evander is what I’d call a good idea by the team. Plenty of young minds for him to affect when they still haven’t established themselves. He is a good player, but he could wreck the room.Strangelove wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 7:28 pm I do think the Oilers are a good fit.

A decent GM should take a run if they were a contender. Or even Toronto or Alberta. Cheap and motivated. Just need the leadership group to keep him in line. That isn’t here.

Fuck Kane! I'm still taking in what Wids said about Pettersson and his entitlement mentality! That's disturbing

I'm thinking Omsk, or Chelyabinsk.
Perhaps Kunlun Red Star as a wild card.
