I'd take Quenville.
Nope; The whole fan-base here seems to like
Just not me. Oh well, my bad.

Nothing wrong with the coach that’s here. You can’t keep changing coaches every season

I can see the Oilers firing McLellan and bringing in Quenville
Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
Quenville gone for the same reason AV was sent packing by Vancouver.
Exceeded his best before date and the message went stale.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

I agree, you can't.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 10:18 amNothing wrong with the coach that’s here. You can’t keep changing coaches every season
This rebuild needed experience from the get-go.
I don't agree with the nothing wrong with the one...
To refrain from a long post, I'll just mention "one" thing.

Was Travis Green Linden's or Benning's guy? Anyone see a scenario where Benning goes to Aquaman and says he wants to bring in his own guy to coach the team?
Green is doing a good job, but he's no Quenville
Canucks right now are in a similar place as the Hawks were when they made the coaching move. Missed playoffs 3 straight years, starting to turn a corner.
I'm not saying I'm in favor of it, but if Benning wants his guy now that Linden is no longer in the picture, does he consider this?

How do you know what he’s gained? Are you friends with a lot of the officials?micky107 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 10:29 amI agree, you can't.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 10:18 amNothing wrong with the coach that’s here. You can’t keep changing coaches every season

Yeah...no. Elmer has fired a coach and hired another. They aren’t going to allow him to gas Green. IF Green gets the boot in the next two years, Elmer will be going with him.vic wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 10:34 am Was Travis Green Linden's or Benning's guy? Who really hired Green? Was it Linden or was it Benning?Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 10:48 amYeah...no. Elmer has fired a coach and hired another. Everyone was probably in agreement that Willie needed to go, but everyone also knows that Willie was a Linden hiring.

Willie was hired as an interim coach. No other candidate would accept the temporary title and position. He was hired to be replaced easily. Don’t be surprised....
The only HW the Canucks need

I wouldn't be surprised if the Blues ditched Yeo and made a pitch to Quenneville. Never say never, there...Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 11:33 amWillie was hired as an interim coach.
