Please tell me you didn't seriously believe the "bring him back and make him captain" jokes from a few months ago!Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 6:29 pm StalWART Luca Sbisa has managed to muster up a PTO.
I would have thought he would have gotten a long term deal at good money. Well I would have thought that if I actually believed the people who were pumping his tires.
But I’m the one who doesn’t watch the games.

Ya the pizza man was overpaid for what he brought. He will probably get a deal around 1.5-2 million.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 6:29 pm StalWART Luca Sbisa has managed to muster up a PTO.

No, but Topper, Dude and a few others have been bumping their gums about him being a legit top 4 stalwart for a couple yearsStrangelove wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 6:44 pmPlease tell me you didn't seriously believe the "bring him back and make him captain" jokes from a few months ago!Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 6:29 pm StalWART Luca Sbisa has managed to muster up a PTO.

Sbisa as a number 5-6 making 2 million a year, is an asset, he’s great in the lockerroom, sticks up for teammates, hits and fights. Jim jumped the gun on him kinda like he did with Hutton, but he served his purpose here as a warm body and expansion fodderBlob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 6:29 pm StalWART Luca Sbisa has managed to muster up a PTO.

Somewhere between a -#6 - #8 and making 1 million - 1.4. Sign me up. I’d take him at that salary over every d man on the team except for Tanev, Edler and Biega. He is a decent 14 or 15 minute a game guy who suffers when he’s put in the top 4 similar to 44.
He seems like like a likeable guy so I hope he makes the Islanders and prolongs his career

Blob having his moment in the "see, I told you so!" World.

Because the guy cant make an outlet pass on his backhand to save his life.
The lames watched 10 minutes of tape on the guy...in the time it took to knock back a half sack they had the series by forcing poor old Luca onto the backhand wall and creaming him off the puck...every single breakout

Every now and then, I have to remind myself to look at this.
Not as bad in the years of lore when Canadian teams paid in it's own currency but still notable enough.
Gambling, sunshine and oil.
A nice view don't mean shit.

Boston deals Adam McQuaid to the Rag$ for Kampfer, a 4th and a cond 7th.
I find this encouraging as it suggests there is a market this time of year for player movement, and the Benning should be on the horn looking to shed dead weight.
