So my understanding is that UFA KHL players cannot be signed until April 30th and after. Does Tryamkin fall under this rule? Reason I ask is because there seems to be a few Russians getting signed by NHL teams before April 30th.

There was a report when the KHL cancelled their season that players were free to sign for the next NHL Season, not the current one, if it ever gets back.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2020 8:43 am So my understanding is that UFA KHL players cannot be signed until April 30th and after. But the another report said the contracts were only agreed upon and couldn't officially be signed and registered with the leagues until May 1st.
But then again, wtf do I know.
The only HW the Canucks need

Risky business to do that draft prior to the resumption of the pauses season, so I imagine the draft gets postponedMadcombinepilot wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 12:58 pm John Scott is reporting on Twitter that NHL camps to open june 1...

They can't possibly do the draft until after the season is over. What happens if a team is out of the playoff now, and wins the lottery, but then makes the playoffs and wins the Stanley Cup? They have to at least wait until the regular season is declared over, and the playoff/draft seedings are set.Madcombinepilot wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 5:26 pmThats what I wasn't thinking, and I have not seen any confirmations of said rumour...Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 4:02 pmRisky business to do that draft prior to the resumption of the pauses season, so I imagine the draft gets postponedMadcombinepilot wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 12:58 pm John Scott is reporting on Twitter that NHL camps to open june 1...

Unconfirmed rumors (aka shit I just said aloud, so I "heard" it") are the expansion draft is May 30 for Seattle. Training camp starts June 1st, and we have a 32 team playoff format. Best of 3 for 1st 2 rounds. Best of 5 for the 3rd and 4th round, then a best of 7 final. Say it aloud, and you too can hear this from a "reliable" source.
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!

Simply by repeating the above and using a message board as our source we're already several steps ahead of the Vancouver hockey media.Tciso wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 7:01 pmThey can't possibly do the draft until after the season is over. You never know. It could be any one's ideas on a format / procedure / anything that doesn't piss someone off, that gets implemented.BingoTough wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 10:03 pmSimply by repeating the above and using a message board as our source we're already several steps ahead of the Vancouver hockey media.Tciso wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 7:01 pmThey can't possibly do the draft until after the season is over. It will not be easy. The magic formula that is fair to all will have to instantly make so much sense, it's not debated ad nauseum...
If you can do it,
Personally, I doubt anything will make everyone happy. When has it?

Gomer, Why is there a link to what appears to be music? How does that make any kind of point in confirming Tisco's rumour??

Mick you might as well just embrace the nickname rather than get all fired up. At your age you have to consider your ticker
