Turris was their lil engine that could, after they lost him and brought in Duchene they haven't been the same.Josh Clipperton:
Kyle Turris speaking in Vancouver on the end of his time in Ottawa:
“It’s tough because I think management did want to sign me,
but I think that the owner didn’t. And that was his decision.”
Now Karlsson might have to be dealt thanks to thin pockets in Sens land.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Given the new look 'round these parts, I figured it was time for a change.

Man that would not go over well for the fickle fan base in Vancouver, but it kind of reminds me of the Shanahan for Pronger deal.Uncle dans leg wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2017 12:30 pm Heres one to bend your noodle Skyo...

Boeser ain't Shanny and Dahlin ain't Pronger obviously, but if Dahlin is the next Karlsson this team would be foolish to not accept, the team could use a top-tier scoring dman, as Hutton, Stecher, MDZ & Pouliot ain't getting it done scoring wise & Juolevi projects to be a smart, two-way, big minute dman but won't score a ton.
Still I hella prefer this team get more picks and prospects from now till trade deadline, yes even with Baertschi and Sutter nearing return which should help a bit, it's not enough to make the playoffs. So I hope management is ready to continue the rebuild.
Team you'd think is due for some timely luck at the lotto *crosses fingers*

Bennett - Ritchie - Stalwart
Bennett at 4th pick overall and Dal Colle at 5th pick overall is one thing but WTF is with the 2nd overall pick - Reinhart? Another typical Canadian bust
