The funny thing is, this is what it takes for them to question his leadership.

The Leaves need to dig up some old Naslund postgame interviews for him to learn from.

"I don't know what happened, I guess we came out flat..."

"I don't know what happened, I guess we weren't prepared..."

"We choked"

That is the leadership the Leaves need.

I'm not a Kessel fan, although I wouldn't mind him on our second line if we were deep everywhere else, a pure sniper. But I do respect him for telling the media to get lost. There are certain times throughout the season when the media just need to back the fuck off. If he was like that after every game then Ya he is being a dick. But after that loss to Buffalo I think the media just needs to suck it up and leave him alone. Why be cry babies over it. They are full of self importance and the feeling of entitlement.

There are positives and negatives to being a pro athlete.

This is stating the obvious.

One of the negatives is dealing with the media.

Suck it up ponyboy.

Yeah well that's why he gets paid the big bucks.

Thought we had you pegged as a Leaf-lover....

The local sports media's latest "second half slide" story is only 3 days old and gaining momentum. Maybe it will shame/inspire the team for a better effort.

Speaking of media, whats the story on Barry Macdonald,he was away for a long time, thought he'd been replaced by Moj

I doubt the Vancouver media will "shame/inspire" anyone on the Canucks. My guess is more along the lines of it will slowly beat them down with the constant inane questions about last season/the slide etc. This would be so tiring to have to answer the same questions day after day until they get out of the current slump.

BMac unfortunately suffers from depression. He took time off to deal with it:
