Johnny openly admitted to loving and hoping to play for the Flyers one day.
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Johnny Gaudreau, aka Johnny Hockey, grew up a Flyers fan and would like to play in Philly again, someday.

“Yeah it’d be sweet,” Gaudreau told the 94WIP Morning Show when asked about potentially playing for the Flyers.

“I’ve got a ton of family here, all my friends — I actually have a wedding this week here in South Jersey. All my friends come back here, all my good friends, and kids that I’ve played with my whole life are from South Jersey. So, it would be sweet to play here some day. You know you never know in sports, but it’s a lot of support back here in South Jersey and the Philly area.”

A long time ago, a baseball player remarked: "If I owned a ballclub, I'd hire a $5,000 coach and a $15,000 scout."

Regarding Gaudreau to Philly I’d be asking about Morgan Frost and Cam York, their top 2 prospects. Don’t think you can get Farabee, he’s a beaut. Maybe get a vet like Konecny and or Myers or Sanheim but the Flames need forwards. I’d ask for Konency, Frost and a 1st round pick

As I said yesterday: He used to be a good NHL coach.

Now?

Dinosaur.

Although I hear he's pretty good at coaching cows these days...

He’s a good coach until it’s proven he isn’t. 8 games isn’t a sample size.

Find me any coach with around Sutter’s level of experience on his resume who hasn’t been fired multiple times.

Off the top of my head, The ones out there....

Joel Q
Trotz
Torts
Vigneault
Tippet
DeBoer
Laviolette
Ruff
McLellan
Cooper
Maurice
Sullivan
Boudreau
Gallant
Julien

All of them are regarded as good coaches with loads of experience. They’ve all been axed a couple of times and rehired after varying lengths of time between jobs.
