All this followed rookie Peca destroying Selanne w/ an open ice hit.

Not sure if he was fined or not back then, but if that would have happened today (comments caught on tv), I'm pretty sure a heavy fine would have been given to Domi.

Back then it was just "old time hockey"

Kinda reinforces how Bertuzzi got screwed by the new politically correct "not allowed to have any blood on a jersey" NHL

Perry made threats to Datsyuk and Samuelsson too. He was never fined. This happens in every game. As long as it's not done Avery-style I'm sure it's fine.

Was this caught on camera or in an interview?

"Tell Samuelsson he's gonna get it, you better tell him. You're gonna get it too"

I think that stuff will happen every single game. It's called chirping. If they start suspending people for that kind of stuff I'll stop watching the sport that was formerly labelled hockey.
