Not sure how much local coverage this got and surprised to see nothing posted on this board but did all of you hear about what Kyle Beach did to this 5'9 Norwegian prospect?

As much as Hodgson's back has been a concern, makes you really appreciate the fact that Canucks managed opted to go with him in light of all the rumours that they would pick Beach. What an absolute goon! So happy he's not part of the organization.

Forgot to mention that this Olimb kid is out 4 months now after falling awkwardly during that "fight" (which was actually the second fight between the two, immediately following the first one apparently).

Certainly seem to like his chnaces against the smaller players, let's hope he makes that mistake with Rypien

Local kid with so much potential, but he has a two cent head. Kyle has been in trouble in the past and will be in trouble in the future.

I don't want to say more in a public foram, but he comes from bad stock I am very glad the Canucks didn't draft him as there were so many red flags and the Black Hawks took the chance and the Canucks did not.

Beach is an idiot. Everybody uses terms like 'power-forward' and "plays with an edge" to describe him.

He plays like an moron. If diving, scrapping small guys and barking at everyone from the opposing players to his own coach means "playng with an edge", then God help the hockey fan who likes it tough and honest. Because that kid ain't it. I'm still very pleased MG decided to take Hodgson over Beach. A little time will bear that out.
