He's actually been playing pretty good on this road trip, apparently he's got a bit more in the tank than I gave him credit for. Yes, Baumgartner.
The Canucks only dressed 6 defenseman today, so Baumer got 22 minutes. He must be as happy as a pig in shit, I heard the interview when he was called up last month, his first ticket to the show in 3 years, he realizes it is his last chance and has embraced it!

I've always been a big fan of Nolan Baumgartner since his days with the Kamloops Blazers.
Unfortunate at times when a first rounder ends up like as a journeyman and then an AHL'er, but I've always like Baumer. Glad to see him making the most of his opportunity here in Vancouver.
