Hey that was Blob- I could never master the tarty tone he brings to the forum on those gloriously select occasions he posts.Sorry I thought Mitchell and Ohlund and Salo played last year? and of course I shouldn't have said barely competent. incompetent is more accurate for their play this year....

"tarty" ? I can see witty, edgy, or sarcastic. But tarty sounds like smarmy.the toucan kid wrote:Hey that was Blob- I could never master the tarty tone he brings to the forum on those gloriously select occasions he posts.Sorry I thought Mitchell and Ohlund and Salo played last year? and of course I shouldn't have said barely competent. incompetent is more accurate for their play this year....

Hmm Merriam-Webster had only one definition of tarty : "resembling or suggestive of a prostitute (as in clothing or manner)""tarty" ? I can see witty, edgy, or sarcastic. But tarty sounds like smarmy.
We probably don't want to go with that one...
I found a secondary definition elsewhere which is more in keeping with what I thought I was going for : "sharp in meaning or implication; cutting"
