Please don't put words in my mouth, I never said he was useless. I did not deem him useless, you interpreted that yourself. I specifically said he has on more than a few occasions in the past put his team in some trouble because of his lack of discipline.

Anyway, he's out and it might actually be a good thing.

as the worst offenders on responsible defence are Edler and Bieksa I don't see how this will make much difference.. oh.. throw in Mathew Schneider who is a good acquasition offensively but a defensive liability... We now have 1 less tough dman for a total of 1 game... !... no big whoop...

Figureskating and gymnastics are more than oft the brunt of the 'tough guy sports' jokes... I sustained more injuries as a gymnast than I ever did as a hockey player (and I played until I was allowed to hit)...but...tough hockey is fine, I love it too...I just find it amusing how 'toughness' is always brought up to being rough.

Has he even dropped the gloves once this year?
You have to admit that he has improved defensively since last season and is not our most mistake prone d-man this year.
That being said, we won't miss him for one game with our depth on D.

Maybe you should read some of the comments by you pro-SOB'ers like he's GOT to be part of this team from the GDT with the Rangers. Like he brings so much to the table...*sighs*

I guess he's an 'elite' 6/7th. To me he's just a guy that made many bonehead mistakes for me to just give him a clean slate...ho...hum...

I've supported this team with my wallet for the last few years getting seasons tickets.
I've followed them on road trips over the years.
I buy their merchandise
I buy their PPVs
I raise my kids to be Nucks fans

How does not being a big fan of SOB make me less of a Nucks fan?

I think I do my part...more than most.
