Agreed. I don't know where all these rumours are coming that they want to deal him. I'm sure they could get a ton back for him, but that only adds to the cap trouble. My guess is they'll sign him, eating into the extra 10% that teams are allowed to carry over the summer, and then make a move to deal away Ryder or Bergeron.
