Rangers are DONE! Caps move on.
Doc: "BTW, Donny was right, you're smug."

Then the Canes come back with 2 goals in the last few minutes - wow!

Unbelievable! Canes going down fighting to the death and score 2 in the last 1:20? I can't recall a turnaround like that to win a series.....ever. Brodeur looked stunned. Everybody did. Crazy stuff.

Marty was simply ordinary.

The WAS-NYR game was fast!

I am really looking forward to watching Crosby/Malkin vs. Ovechkin/etc. in the 2nd round!
E1-E4 = I made it up.
E5 = Found it on tsn.

It would take a miracle for Marty to start in Vancouver in 2010

That Carolina/New Jersey series fell under the proverbial radar for most NHL fans, but that was one fine series: fast, physical, with plenty o' twists and turns. The incredible comeback/choke tonight gave it the Instant Classic status (except in New Jersey).
I think Carolina is starting to build some serious momentum. Even Samsonov has some jump! The Bruins will get all they can handle.

Poor Markus :(
I'm sure there are plenty of people who still think Gillis is a moron for not re-signing him.

I liked Markus Naslund. I thought he was pretty good captain and definitely a fan favourite. However, his time in Vancouver was done. I remember some friends telling that they were pissed because he wasn't even made an offer, but in my mind Markus' time in Vancouver was like an old carton of milk still in the fridge.

He started off well for the NYR but imploded like the rest of the team.

I'm a Canucks fan first, a player fan second.

I'm sure Markus is happy for his old team but I know he probably wishes he was playing with them right now.
