Then the Canes come back with 2 goals in the last few minutes - wow!
Doc: "BTW, Donny was right, you're smug."

Unbelievable! Canes going down fighting to the death and score 2 in the last 1:20? I can't recall a turnaround like that to win a series.....ever. Brodeur looked stunned. Everybody did. Crazy stuff.

Re: In the East tonight
Marty was simply ordinary.
The WAS-NYR game was fast!
I am really looking forward to watching Crosby/Malkin vs. Ovechkin/etc. in the 2nd round!

It would take a miracle for Marty to start in Vancouver in 2010nucklehead88 wrote:that was insane!Arachnid wrote:ShockerCornuck wrote:Then the Canes come back with 2 goals in the last few minutes - wow!

Re: In the East tonight
That Carolina/New Jersey series fell under the proverbial radar for most NHL fans, but that was one fine series: fast, physical, with plenty o' twists and turns. The incredible comeback/choke tonight gave it the Instant Classic status (except in New Jersey).
I think Carolina is starting to build some serious momentum. Even Samsonov has some jump! The Bruins will get all they can handle.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who still think Gillis is a moron for not re-signing him.Arachnid wrote:Poor MarkusCornuck wrote:Rangers are DONE! Caps move on.

Re: In the East tonight
I liked Markus Naslund. I thought he was pretty good captain and definitely a fan favourite. However, his time in Vancouver was done. I remember some friends telling that they were pissed because he wasn't even made an offer, but in my mind Markus' time in Vancouver was like an old carton of milk still in the fridge.Tukaram wrote:I'm sure there are plenty of people who still think Gillis is a moron for not re-signing him.Arachnid wrote:
Poor Markus
He started off well for the NYR but imploded like the rest of the team.
I'm a Canucks fan first, a player fan second.
I'm sure Markus is happy for his old team but I know he probably wishes he was playing with them right now.
