Great Job Corey,
Hopefully next year he can see more NHL seasoning. Hopefully he can turn out to be the goalie of the future that the canucks spoke of for years and years.. i know we have LU but he is 30.. wouldn't say future..

Winning it is no guarantee of anything in the bigs
Brochu won it, Dany Sabourin, LaBarbera won it twice...

the listing winners is kind of hit 'n' miss http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/awards/awa ... ward_id=52

still, congrats... winning it is better than not winning :D

Good sign, but I would think management should still consider keeping him in the AHL for one more year if we can sign LaBarbera for cheap. Why bother rushing him if he can play a ton of games down there instead of only 10-15 with the Canucks? I suppose it depends if Luongo signs an extension this summer. Gawd, I really hope he does.
38 years without a Stanley Cup and counting.
