He's quite dominant. Very strong puck posession for his age. When he and Harju kept the puck in the offensive zone they reminded me of the Sedins. Difference is that they do not have exactly the same scary knowledge of where the other guy is, but on the other hand they are much stronger than the Sedins were at that age. I don't really subscribe to the highest bidder theory, especially with respect to European players. If the roles were reversed, why would I want to take 100K to play in the minor leagues, when someone much closer to home is offering me ten times that much to play in arguably a better league? If the Oilers were guaranteeing him a spot on their NHL roster, with a salary comensurate to that, I'm sure you'd see him try to hack it in the NHL, but if they're unwilling to promise him more than a decent shot, he'd be a fool not to take the cash for a year in the K.Broda wrote:From what i have heard i get the feeling he wants to play in the NHL but he is trying to secure the rookie max, having this out gives him an option of making that kind of money.
