I have no words that can make this right. I have no thoughts on why one so young is taken. I have no desire to try to console this act.
one of mine has been taken today. one of yours has been taken today. one of the worlds has been taken today.
All my thoughts for his family, his friends, his fans.

TSN.ca is reporting it now. Holy fuck... I was hoping for some big news today, but certainly not like this. I hope the team does the right thing and retires #28 (at least unofficially) like they did for Wayne Maki.

It just happens, and never fails to be very sad when a young guy with everything in front of him gets taken away, that's for sure.

Wow, I wish this was some kind of cruel joke. This is really pretty sad and stepping outside of the tragedy of it it won't help our back end next year either. Bourdon was getting better and better. Now our draft picks making an impact looks to have gotten even worse.

I was really looking forward to Luc having the leash taken off next season. He was an undeniable talent and a pleasure to watch. God bless his Mom and Dad. I hope no one here ever goes through their pain. Rest in peace Luc.

That's too young an age for someone to die.
Damn.

Condolences to his family. Very sad to see someone so young die so needlessly.

Shocking, absolutely shocking. So young and so full of promise.
I agree with retiring #28, (and nobody should have worn #11 again either, so put that one away for good too).
