Goalie of the Year

Post by Meerschaum »

Goalie Magazine's goaltender of the year for 2006 is none other than . . .

Your Vancouver Canucks' very own . . .

No, it isn't Sanford . . .

Well, duh. Could there really be any doubt . . .

LLLOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

"During that stretch, Luongo played 75 games and maintained a .930 save percentage and 2.07 GAA. He had 57 hot games, 13 average and five bad ones. He also stole nine wins," the magazine said.

Kudos to da man.

Since some people jumped all over the 'media' for reporting an incorrect stat, I'll have to point out that Loungo won the 2007 goalie of the year. ;)

Hopefully Meers, you can entertain us all on how you missed an ENTIRE year!

Name the second best goalie in the NHL.......Kipper? Broduer? hard isn't it....when its easy to name the best goalie.....
I don't undersand why the NHL does not have him & Crosby in 1000 commercials everywhere?

Lundqvist....I have not seen much except for hi-lights...he's really mobile...
I can't disagree.
I guess my point is Luongo is far & away the best goalie.

So who was the poster saying that Luongo doesn't steal enough games?
