Leaked new unis and kinda new logo

This photo was passed on to me by a buddy who knows people who claim to have connections to the team.

Anyways, the word is that the new unis will be blue, green and white (like we all expected) and the logo will remain the Orca logo, with the stick and rink on the shoulder. The orca logo will be blue, white and silver. Here's a link of the logo

Kind of anti climatic if you ask me.

I saw that a couple days ago. The leaves want their colours back. Seriously, can they be any more less imaginative?

I love logos modeled after apartment blocks. Gray? Seriously? Yikes, I guess it's what they said it would be, but it is just about the least intuitive design ever. Did they actually pay someone to come up with that because I think someone on CDC would've been more then happy to do it for free.

Well I'd assume the blue will match the blue on the jersey. These are probably "black and white" demos.

meh, with a "Boring" system that other teams complain about, our Jerseys will help it and make the opposing goalie fall asleep during games!

Nah, not my friend. He doesn't post on CDC. He only posts on HF Baords. But he could have got it from someone that posts there.

Actually I'm surprised that's on CDC. Weren't the Canucks hellbent on keeping this a secret?

yeah but so were other teams, like the sharks, the penguins and a couple others. So just cause there hellbent doesn't mean there going to keep it a secret

the intro the the Canucks C-Force kids program clearly shows the recolored orca logo.

Now for the concerning part... this bookmark has been showing up over on CDC, NHL Logos, and Canucks Central, as well as other places. Colors are fine, but I'm really not a fan of a wordmark on the front... ugh.

New speculation... is it a leak? A Photoshopped Washington jersey?

Only time will tell... but I hope the blue proves a little darker than this (but not as dark as at present):

Latest speculation is that the creases seem to identical to the Caps' release, and therefore it's likely a photoshopped version:

It's an incredible photoshop if it is. I hope that's not our new jersey. The Orca really doesn't work in Blue-Green. Why can't we just have the Vintage logo full time again?

Nice detective work there, Jyrki.

I'm not interested in seeing the Orca change colour - just seems cheap and lazy to me (aside from the fact that it doesn't work in those colours).

Let's hope that SOMEone in the Canucks organization has some taste and approves a logo and colour combo we can all be proud of.
