Somebody give this guy a reality check. It sure as hell ain't gonna be Gandler. If he thinks 18 goals and no points in the playoffs is going to get him anything over a million, Yashin must definitely be smoking whatever Gandler is pushing.

I think Yashin needs to realize that he's not worth what he's asking. Assuming he reduces his asking price however, here's a few things to consider (as it relates to the Canucks).
-Yashin doesn't seem to thrive in leadership roles. If Yashin came to Vancouver, he wouldn't be put in a leadership position.
-Yashin wouldn't be expected to carry the team in Vancouver.
-Yashin could help our Power Play.
-Yashin could help get Naslund going (and vice-versa).
My only concern, is that Yashin's heart might not totally be into hockey. Yashin, much like Sergei Fedorov, might prefer a "lower key" market where he can get away (to an extent) with not putting forth 100% intensity.
Going after Yashin (even at a discounted price) might not be the best move for Vancouver (or Yashin for that matter).
I vote "no" for Yashin.
