Rory is now in SECOND PLACE, behind Niedermayer and ahead of Lidstrom. If he maintains he will be a starter in the all-star game!!! :shock:

Knowing the NHL they'll find a "loophole" saying he had to play a minimum amount of games in order to get in.

Couple of articles for and against him going on the nHL.com website. Both good points. Personally I haven't voted for him because I don't really want to see him there but I do like the humour.

The Lidstrom one is hilarious....he was a minus 4 against Chicago in 2004...you call that an allstar??

I really hope he would go, otherwise all the people's support would be in vain. Hey the system is set up to let the fans decide and so far they have spoken, fair & square. The NHL never minded when cities would stuff ballot boxes w/ their favorite hometown heroes so this is all above the table.

Did anyone see Rory score the Ovechkin goal w/ the bobble head? I posted it in the other Rory thread. Freaking hilarious!
