Juraj Simek

Post by unikron »

Last year in the Dub Jannik Hansen came out of no where to be a legit offensive prospect, and this year it's Simek.
10 games in and he has 17 pts. I think Hansen was about a point a game guy last year, and this guy is...(ok let's do the math...carry the one...subtract the..) almost 2 a game.
I know it is only 10 games in, but that's a pretty good start for a rook in the WHL. From Gero's reports about Shirokov, and Grabner and SImek we finally have a few prospects who score...albeit at the junior level, but it's a start.

and to any flamers out there, yes I was just recently bemoaning out scouting staff. As pessimistic as I was I am an optimist and will continue to chant...

Please don't be a Pavel Brendl
"I, know I could make it right, if I could just swallow my pride".

Frankly it's my believe the scouting department under the stewardship of Ronnie Delorme have done pretty well, I know some players have been traded but that's not the scouts problem

Kesler
Umberger
Bourdon
Schnieder
Ellis Plante
Vincent
Raymond
Hansen
Grabner
Edler

What a change from Penny's days
cheers
