Way too gimmicky in Florida skills comp, they should just stick to the standard format they've had for years.

Didn't Pettersson come second in hardest shot as a rookie and was the only forward in the group that year?

If there was ever any doubt of Mitch Marner's sexuality.

I watched it for a while, and it seemed to be a bit of a mess with the constant back and forth. Some of the gimmicks were just too forced.

I waited for Petey, then shut it off.

I know that the whole purpose of the weekend is to attract new fans, but the usual complaint of not showing the actual game of hockey still applies. I don't the players were showcased enough as individuals, with just a few short interviews - but maybe if they were mic'd up, it would be more entertaining.

In the end, it just seems like the NHL has no idea how to market itself.

NHL needs a whole new marketing team.

And they need to make the breakaway challenge like the NBA's slam dunk competition, everyone loves that, and they have the best judges, former dunk champions, NBA hall of famers.

For whatever reason NHL players made the breakaway challenge a joke now, like a little play/skit, no skill anymore.

The breakaways used to be rare - so showcasing them was fun. The ones they had this were horrible 'jokes'. I'd rather see players try some weird shots that they wouldn't attempt in a game - not make up some ridiculous skit. (again, we're not the target market)

The whole weekend is a joke in terms of actual competition.

The accuracy shooting and hardest shot are the only thing of interest.

The breakaway competition is a complete farce. Half speed and goaltenders who don’t try. I saw the headline and highlight that was making this huge deal of Nia Nurse scoring on Shesterkin by pulling a Forsberg deke…..praising her for scoring it on a Vezina winner. I’m all for inclusivity and promoting women’s hockey (even tho I find it slow and boring to watch), but the coverage and interviews are almost demeaningly patronizing most of the time.

I liked the interchange between Petey and Bo.

All Smiles. "One last time" right before they score, and all smiles again on the bench. You could see they were having fun.

The media will say that its because they get along and it proves JT is the problem in the dressingroom, but I think 'one last time' comment referred to the fact they could skate around with no structure and not play defence, One Last Time.
