If he was half the goalie of last year the team would be 0.500. Not blaming him but last year he was amazing. Just always seemed to be in the right place at the right time.

Not a goalie coach and listening to a specialist on the radio, the guy was saying Demko does not seem to be as set in his position as well as he has in the past.

In his defense it's tough to get set, square and prepared when opponents are doing pirohettes around your D on an every shift basis....

Human nature fucks with your brain and you go from playing tendencies to being overly presumptive....

From what little I've seen I agree though Reef, he is not good right now.

You are probably right Donny, he may be overthinking out there with little confidence that the team in front of him will stop the player/puck. Then he starts moving with anticipation instead of playing the way Ian has taught him.

I still don’t believe this team is that bad and 3 wins and the swagger and confidence is back.

I don’t think they’re that bad either. Going into last nights game they led more than they trailed. But fans are pissed off and rightfully so. They’ve been treated to a shifty hockey team for the last decade. 2012-2022 is a dark decade of suck for this franchise.

Yeah (yeah, yeah)
I was right all along,
Yeah (yeah, yeah)
You come tagging along,
Exhibit a,
On a tray,
What you say,
Ends up thrown in your face,
Exhibit b,
What you see,
Well that's me,
I'll put you back in your place
Yeah I've done it before,
And I can do it some more,
So what you waiting for?
Yeah!
I was right all along!
'Cause I've done it before,
And I can do it some more,
I've got my eye on the score,
I'm gonna cut through the floor,
It's too late,
It's too soon,
Or is it
Tick tick tick tick tick tick tick...boom!
Whatever you do, always give 100 %!
Except when donating blood.

The Woke don't fly in Florida

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/florid ... y-job-fair

NHL decription of the event
"Participants must be 18 years of age or older, based in the U.S., and identify as female, Black, Asian/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, and/or a person with a disability. Veterans are also welcome and encouraged to attend," the event description states.
Desantis spokesman Bryan Griffin
"Discrimination of any sort is not welcome in the state of Florida, and we do not abide by the woke notion that discrimination should be overlooked if applied in a politically popular manner or against a politically unpopular demographic. We are fighting all discrimination in our schools and our workplaces, and we will fight it in publicly accessible places of meeting or activity," Griffin said.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Funny isn't it. White people fighting back when they feel excluded. Well, some non whites trying to be white that is.

Is it discrimination? Ya it is. But the non woke simply can not understand why the woke exist is the first place.

I fucked up, this was supposed to be in the NHL business thread. Move it of you wish.

I agree with the Florida governor. This is nothing but virtue back patting by the league.

As for the road trip so far, Ice Capafes road trips of yore

I'm surprised the Canucks weren't sending a representative because Mr Aquilini is pretty woke.

Perhaps he didn't hear about it...
