Trotting out these 2 fumble fucks as our second pairing will be the kiss of Judas for us until it is replaced
Hey Myers will carry the puck up the ice and drive to the net while Dermott hangs back and cleans up the droppings.

It's gonna be entertaining Cuz. I'm totally on board for this ;)

Up front, the set pairs that have shown chemistry will be:

————— Pettersson Boeser
————— Miller Garland
Pearson Horvat —————

To get off to a fast start, which they must do after last season’s debacle, they’ll keep those pairs together to start the season.

I think it’ll be:

Kuzmenko Miller Garland
Podkolzin Pettersson Boeser
Pearson Horvat Mikheyev
Joshua Lazar Hoglander
Dickinson

With Hoglander waiting in the wings to get into the top nine if anyone starts the season slowly. I expect he’ll bounce back and win more trust from the coach. Dickinson outside looking in if Joshua plays as well as Rutherford says he will. The Horvat line will get the tough shutdown matchups and defensive zone starts.

A fourth line of:
Hoglander Rodrigues Lazar would be even better, if there are any legs to Dhaliwal’s rumour and Rodrigues can be signed cheap.

On D the top four will stay the same to keep last year’s chemistry at the end of the season going. Rathbone will get lots of preseason minutes and first dibs at the third pair left side, but he better play well as he won’t get much rope. Dermott and Burroughs will fight over the last spot on the right side in the top six. There is lots of risk in the bottom pairing. Ideally they’d move Schenn down to the third pair and replace him in the top four; but more likely, they just sign De Haan, a replacement for Brad Hunt’s depth spot, if Poolman is out.

OEL Myers
Hughes Schenn
Rathbone Dermott
De Haan Burroughs

Pettersson's play will depend on his strength and conditioning. How easy is it for defenders to physically neutralize him from the play. Time for him to get beyond the drinking game Sedin stage of his career. If he has passed that phase, all bets are off on his ceiling.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

So we are gifting the untried Rookie guy from another league the first line wing spot before we see him in training camp?

Asking for a friend.

That’s a definite maybe. Kuzmenko looked really good skating all by himself yesterday. :D

It’s either the lines above or Bruce might try nationalizing the lines hoping for chemistry - all Yanks, all Ruskies, all Canucks, all Swedes

Garland Miller Boeser
Kuzmenko Podkolzin Mikheyev
Pearson Horvat Lazar
Karlsson Pettersson Hoglander

It might work?

That doesn't look too bad - and an all russian line could be really interesting.

Some 'international' competition between the lines could work wonders (or tear the team apart) :D

Dont forget our 1st round pick this year is a bad choice based upon a few games in a no nothing junior series played in Alberta.

Training camp can't start soon enough.

He appeared to take a pretty big step forward as last season wore on. He looked the strongest I've seen him yet.

Video of him pushing weights around this summer hopefully means he's adding some lumps onto his pipecleaners

In which he was recovering from mono and was a last minute decision to attend rather than rest up for his hockey season.
