4th Rnd: Daimon Gardner C CAN 6' 4" 200 HIGH-MN

https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/5 ... on-gardner

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swVKCWPrqXs

Daimon Gardner (C)
“Hometown”: Warroad, MN
2021-22 Team: Warroad HS
Committed To: Clarkson University

Gardner was technically born in Canada, but he’s making this list as a player for playing youth and high school hockey in Warroad, hometown of TJ Oshie. Gardner towers over others on this list at 6-foot-4 and 201 lbs, and he also plays center. He struggled last year with the Omaha Lancers in the USHL but put up video game numbers for Warroad this year, scoring 45 goals and 83 points in just 30 games. Life like that sure is sweet, huh?

Useless information?

Once in NHL history have two players with the same name been on the same team.

Greg Adams and Greg Adams.

Canucks.

'88 - '89....
DeLevering since 1999.

Örebro has a population of 125000 - smaller Swedish town, third round. Giving me Alex Edler vibes. Maybe Gradin unearthed another?

Jim Robson altered their names to Gus Adams and Greg C Adams. Both good BC boys too.

I get the impression that the Canucks have a better scouting system in Sweden than in their own back yard. Or maybe the competition for scouting is in our favour out there?

Gus was nabbed leering at the old lady at the Cannery one time.

Caught his eye and gave him the wtf bro look.

Sent us over a bottle of wine.

Is there a Quinton Hughes in this draft? Would be great if he was a 6'3" RHD who can skate, score, defend and has some sandpaper.

We should pick him.

Did they just clone Petey over at Timra for Alien 2.0? Maybe John & John can start calling V1.0 by his middle name "Fred". Fred Peterson sounds good. Going to be interesting when our new Pettersson Twins start giving the media the Alien Death Stare simultaneously.

Watching ESPN's draft coverage, and they're interviewing Bruce - then "Bruce's favourite wrestler" (Kevin Owens) crashed the interview - Coach was at a loss for words -almost giddy. Fun to watch.
