...wonder how Expat is doing?
Stressed.
...wonder if the wife is enjoying his pain?
Yes.
Well, I couldn't watch the game even if I wanted to. I don't get Sportsnet (by choice) and the fucking Juno's were on CBC. So, I had to settle for checking the scoreboard once in a while. I have to admit, I had the Flames written off. So, there wasn't any stress. One of my sons phoned me to tell me that they won. I think I'm more relieved that it is over than anything.
I'm a bit preoccupied anyway - just found out I'm going to be a grandfather for the first time
Congrats BCE.
Do him a favour and buy him an infant-sized jersey from a team that reliably competes every year.....spare him the dashed hopes of being a fan of a team in the Canadian NW.

My son is a huge Flames fan and his wife is a Canucks fan, so who knows what jersey they will get (I'm betting it'll be a Flames jersey) .

I was thinking Tampa or Pittsburgh.
I'm sure Cornuck would tell you to get him a Rangers jersey (he's a closet fan).
I've gone urban metrosexual pseudo-hippie. I hit the Starbucks while rolling around in a fuel efficient mini truck sipping lattes and harshly judging rednecks with truck balls
I have a trim lid with a cultivated beard. I wear designer outdoorsy stuff and sneak in and out of the numerous dopemarts of Edmonton avoiding eye contact then cycling though the river valley sneaking tokes.
Then I go home to my farm on the weekend, get wrecked and burn shit
