The kings have the easiest schedule to close out - not many injuries and 6 points in hand - It'll be tough to top them. But, they're not really tearing up the league right now - so they'll have to implode for us to catch them. The knights are banged up, have the only eastern road trip. We're 3 points behind with a game in hand - we can catch them.
Dallas is 7 points up with the same number of games left, are 6-2-2 in their last 10. I don't see us catching them.
Bottom line - it doesn't look good, but we're still mathematically in it for now. We just need some serious voodoo on the kings.

I can't see it but am enjoying the team givin' 'er til the end. It looks alot better than sucking and drafting high

Re: The remaining schedule
Exactly - I'd rather watch my team win than tank out to get a pick a couple of spots higher. Maybe we'll see a few more kids from Abby show up soon.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Sun Apr 17, 2022 9:01 am I can't see it but am enjoying the team givin' 'er til the end. With some #ratpower we may stand a chance!
Losing Bo really hurts, he’s been incredible on the dot and leaves a pretty big hole.

Re: The remaining schedule
It's LA and Vegas that we need to overtake to get in. Dallas and Nashville might as well be unobtainium
Vegas stumbling with a tough schedule and LA with a handful of easy games plus that final test against the Canucks.
Stress man

Bo out is the dagger. Is it being speculated that it's a broken bone? Anyone read anything?

.....this article from yesterday indicated possible broken leg.
That's all I've seen for what that's worth.

I can’t believe there isn’t a protective device that doesn’t impede skating to stop this type of injury

Re: The remaining schedule
I suppose it's true of all teams but it feels like this particular type of incident has happened to key Canuck personnel a number of times over the years.
I mean, yeah, better players get more ice time which equates to more likelihood of injury so the numbers add up.
But like you say rats, ffs.
Salo?
Edler?
Tanev?
Bert - friendly fire??
Horvat?
Horvat has broken a lower leg bone previously no?

Re: The remaining schedule
Wanna head down that road we have a laundry list:
Holdens wrist
Peteys wrist
Brock’s back
Hamhuis ribs
Raymond’s back
Bures knee
Bourdon.
Those come to mind immediately.
Re: The remaining schedule
Yeah, I was more referring to lower body type injuries, but sure.
Kesler and Hamhuis hips in 2011 being the worst culprits relative to ultimate cost.
