My eyes told me that. I watched Elmer play a lot of hockey in the Coliseum after we acquired him for Rick Lanz. Jim had a lot of skill but he was very soft in his own end.Strangelove wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 12:23 pmDid Ray Ferraro tell you that?Vin Tanner wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 7:09 am Elmer was a butter soft player. Yeah, trust me, he's a genius...Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 1:57 pmOh is that it...huh.Strangelove wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 1:37 pm He's just trying to look like his team logo there, he's a team guy...
Lol, maybe Donny's right, on MacEwen anyway, but Gadjovich isn't going on waivers any time soon, he's already contributing on the 4th line most nights for a team higher in the standings than the Canucks. Sharks also know he'd never clear.Strangelove wrote: ↑Tue Nov 23, 2021 1:09 pmYeahno, I have not said a word about MacEwen since the day he was waived.Curmudgeon wrote: ↑Tue Nov 23, 2021 11:50 am Don't worry, Doc assured us that Gadjovich and MacEwen will be on waivers any time now, so the need should be filled pretty quick.
As for the possibility of Sharks waiving Gadjovich, I said this:
Was I not being logical there?Strangelove wrote: ↑Wed Nov 03, 2021 1:05 pm So I notice the Sharks had 6 regulars out last night due to covid protocol and a couple of others out with injuries.
Yet Gadjovich was still a healthy scratch.
He's been a healthy scratch in 6 of the 9 games with San Jose...
It's just a matter of time until he's back on waivers and I think, unlike Lind, Nucks would re-claim Gad given the opportunity.
What's the big deal here?
Gadjovich's ceiling is solid 4th liner if he continues to improve his skating.
Some here have their panties in a bigger bunch than Roseanne Barr watching an episode of The Conners... over this??
Good Lord people, try to relax lol.
When the team is 100% healthy, Chase is out of the lineup...
I also said: "it was clearly a mistake to try to sneak Gadjovich through waivers".
Surely everyone here knows by now that I love gritty players.
Even 4th-line-ceiling guys like Gadjovich and MacEwen.
I've never been much of a Green fan... but note that after the waiving of those two players I started screaming for his head.
Also notice I was pushing hard for picking up Kyle Clifford on waivers.
Curm, I know you're one of the many frustrated fans out there, but please don't take it out on a
... perfectly innocent Strangelove.
Well he's been a healthy scratch a lot, just saying.Curmudgeon wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 2:13 pm Gadjovich isn't going on waivers any time soon, he's already contributing on the 4th line most nights for a team higher in the standings than the Canucks.
One never knows, one merely guesses.
