Well how else except by diving could Cuz have found himself between two manatees?
It looked like a pair of horrible boating accidents

Hmmm, yeah I'd say Brayden Schenn didn't much like that penalty call...

Look at fatty stuck in the box with him "Please God, don't let me die, don't let me die..."

I watched that game and the Avs were all over them like Nutso on Gomer!

It's a total freak on nature it wasn't a blowout.

I mean, Binnington was okay, but he wasn't the superstar they were making him out to be.

I lost count of how many posts/crossbars got hammered, never mind the open net misses.

Very strange...

You and I must have watched different games.

Colorado was indeed all over them. The ice wasn't even close to being a level surface.

However, Binnington was very very good, easily one of his best games since 2019. When the shots are 54-25 and you're team loses 3-2 in OT the goalie was on point.

I'm no Binnington fan, and I routinely root for him to get lit up, but credit where it's due.

Okay, Binnington was better than just "good".

I have a hard time saying it because I dislike him so.

He was also very lucky, Avs' snipers were very rusty, they smacked 6 or 7 posts/crossbars

... and a few times the puck sat in the crease for a coupla seconds afterwards.

Avs should've easily scored 6 goals in that game.

How good would 6 goals on 54 shots look there Statsman? :hmmm:

Go back and see how many posts Vegas hit in the final 3 games of the bubble playoffs when Demko earned his Demigod status.....there were more than a couple.

We're aligned on our opinion of Binnington, but I can't deny that he was the only reason it was close in game 1. If you want to say that it could have been 6-2 if not for the posts, I'd argue that based on the play of the Avs it would have been 12-2 if not for the posts and Binnington.
