Imagine walking onto a team with multiple top 2 overall picks like Stamkos and Hedman like Yzerman did? lol I know you don't remember, meanwhile JB walked onto a team with 500 year old Sedin twins where the owners wanted MOAR playoffs for em....but yeah totally different scenarios huh.
Stamkos and Hedman play for Detroit now? Where the hell have I been? :?

Benning is much better than Rob Blake. Blake can’t seem to do right with his drafting, could very well be the next MIke Gillis

Then why are the Kings six points up on the Canucks? Shouldn't it be the other way around, then?

65 games left in the season

That being said, Rob Blake looks to be as gifted at the draft table as your Michael Gillis was gifted

Damn, Barkov down, knee on knee, looked bad...

EDIT:

Hmmm, not as bad as it looked on the very brief twitter clip I first saw, but he's probably out awhile...

Sharks about to go 5 points up on the Canucks with a game in hand. Canucks are going to have to right the ship and go on a quick extended run just to get out of 7th in the division.

HOME SWEET HOME

After playing their first 13 games on the road, the Islanders finally played their first home game in the brand new UBS Arena tonight.

(as you can see, the fans are pretty excited bout dat dere)

Unfortunately the Dirtay Calgary Flames pissed on the party, squashing the Isles 5-2. :scowl:

Couldn’t remember if there was an OOT scores thread, look at that things can end up on page 2.

Oilers doing us a huge solid giving up 5 goals in the third to the Sens to lose 6-4.

Lundell with 2 goals tonight, Raymond with a goal and an assist. What the hell was Rob Blake thinking picking Byfield 2nd overall?

Doyle, care to the chime in?
