OK, like Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of the KHL in 2011 and Manchester United in 1985 (albeit ”only” eight Man U players were killed).
Yeah, OK. Maybe plane crashes do take it to another level. But apart from that.

I have a Marshall Stockwell II to use at the pool deck, and I use their bluetooth headphones when riding my bike to work.

The Canucks have all the pieces and no one seems to remember how this team in the bubble playoffs went to the Conference Finals. Last year, with the pandemic, no team was screwed more and I truly feel we will see an evolution of this team beyond what we have seen to date. With Quinn and Pettersson signed and the additions of Garland and Ekman-Larsson this team is primed to take a much larger step than anyone seems to realize.

I admitted to and apologized for poor timing...jeez.

I predict OEL is going to make his detractors eat their words.

I predict I will be immeasurably surprised by QH and EP.

I pedict this team does great things over the next 3 years but Travis Greene will not be the one who sees the end results of his core groups growth.

I agree with all of this too Donny. I'm fairly certain that TG would've been replaced this past summer but the young core came to his defense during exit interviews and saved his job.

There is a fundamental flaw with his technical abilities as a coach and it has to be more than an assistant who is responsible. I can also see the new guy from CBJ taking over and leading them out of the muck

I selected the "Make the playoffs / slip in / late wild card" option. Would have had them higher on the list but there's been many changes and I think it will take some time to become a really cohesive, well oiled machine. I don't have a problem with them starting with a longish road trip, if anything it should allow them to work out the kinks and not hear the "Oh, No's" from their local fans. Vultures they are.
As always, staying healthy will be paramount.

....I think this is potentially a point with some merit Mick.

A little adversity and team bonding opportunty to start the year.

On the other hand a good deal of folk here wring their hands over systems play.

More practice time at home early in the year to hone in your game.

We shall see soon enough ...

It all depends on Green and his possy (sp).

As Coz and I have said the team is still missing some toughness.

Yeah too many tryouts right till the last preseason game and no chance to build chemistry like other teams have been doing. Did TG really need the entire preseason to agonize over which scrubs to retain?

Road trip means they won't have a hot start and will be anxious to get back home for some practice time.

It's perplexing. Seriously what the fuck are you wringing your hands over Travis? Now everybody is in a kerfuffle again.

Marten up!

I see a team improved in every respect, and pissed off after getting fucked more than any team in sports last year.
Well that explains the pre-season results. All pissed off and raring to take it out on anyone in another jersey.

Oh wait.....

I see a team led by a captain who doesn't like to see people be offended and is very PC.....this team won't play angry.
