Sure doesn't look like much will change at this late point. One main piece up front (Boeser), missing and it changes things. It looks like Green is planning on playing Petey full time at center for 5 X 5 play. I suppose BB will go with Garland / Pettersson.
Fact; Green looks to be trying the three soring line method and by the looks of this, they'll get pretty equal time.
That defense looks set now. Two defense men sit in the press box for games, or one and one?

"I was happy to be back out there with fans. I had a lot of fun playing hockey again."

Vancouver Canucks @Canucks
"He's a really good player. I've played against him for awhile now. He's good at everything. Defensively sound...He can play in all situations. Easy guy for me to play with." 🗣 J.T. Miller on Nic Petan. Oct. 8, 2021
Thomas Drance gives his takes on Canucks camp and who may or may not be on the start of the season roster.
Though Pettersson and Hughes had a good start. Is a little worried about their penalty killing at this point.
Believes it's obvious that Nick Petan will be sticking because he's bee paired with JT miller so much.
Spends a fair bit of time on what he thinks is going to happen with the defense.
Other stuff too.
Canucks centre Jason Dickinson not afraid to speak up for what he believes..
The Vancouver Canucks centre has a burning desire — a need, really — to stand up for what he believes.
"I don't know," Dickinson said after a long pause when asked about that personality trait. "I just do."
The article carries on about all the recent examples of when he has taken a strong stance on things. Very interesting...Worth the read...
On just the hockey;
"I'll create offence, but not necessarily a ton," said Dickinson, who has 25 goals and 63 points in 225 regular-season NHL games. "I'm going to be the guy that gets put out there in a big penalty kill situation or the last minute when we need to protect our net."
That responsibility in his team's zone is something he's had in his tool belt since minor hockey
Canucks head coach Travis Green said he's noticed an unexpected level of maturity from a player with a relatively thin NHL resume — albeit one that does include 40 post-season contests with the Stars.
"He seems older than the games that he's played," Green said. "He asks good questions, he wants to make sure he understands what we're doing, how we're playing, the type of system.

Olli is a panther according to Pierre LeBrun
Well, at least we're not losing him for nothing.
I suppose whoever we get is going to be in the same failed prospect situation, a Hodgson for Kassian swap?
Good luck Olli, I hope you can carve out a decent NHL career. Got some really good forwards in FLA, great weather and low taxes, and no media to try to bludgeon you every day.
Hearing the #Canucks will be getting back a pair of depth players in the Juolevi trade: Juho Lammikko and Noah Juulsen.
Canucks trade Olli Juolevi to Florida Panthers: report
In return, the Canucks will receive Juho Lammikko and Noah Juulsen, according to Thomas Drance of The Athletic.
Lammikko is a 25-year-old right winger from Finland that had five points in 44 games with the Panthers last season.
Juulsen is a 24-year-old former first-round pick from Abbotsford, that has struggled to stick in the NHL. The 6-foot-2 right-shot defenceman has appeared in only 48 NHL games in his career, with Montreal and Florida.
“We’re pleased to welcome Noah and Juho to Vancouver,” said Canucks GM Jim Benning in a media release. “We would also like to thank Olli for his years of service with the Canucks organization and we wish him well in his future endeavours.”

Live Sportsnet 650am player; Canucks, Oct 11, 2021, After Practice, press conference. Maybe answer some questions.
Benning - We needed to put Hamonic on waivers to carve out a roster spot for ourselves. Travis being on waivers buys us some time, saves us some on the cap, he's still dealing with a personal matter. When he gets in he can start skating and join us.
Benning - All the players that are here that will be on our opening day roster will be 100% vaccinated.
Benning - There's an excitement in our group, it would've been nice to have everyone here from the start, that didn't happen... Guys are excited about the additions we made, it gives us more depth. Adding OEL to the group, we've seen what he can bring. The guys are positive.
Benning - We're going to see what we have in Noah Juulsen. He should be in the opening night roster.
“I could make a trade before the 2 o’clock deadline” - Jim Benning
Jim Benning on Brandon Sutter: He’s going to be out for a while. He’s not going to be back anytime soon.
Jim Benning on Hamonic: When we say personal matters, it’s bigger that what you guys think it is. We’re working with him to get him the help he needs.
