Martin St. Louis is the new Montreal Canadien's interim head coach..
I thought it might have been Travis Green putting in for the job, maybe he did, oh well.

Nice to see the Boner playing well and getting better. I wonder if he can become a valuable trade chip to acquire something that would really help out our team.Jeff Paterson @patersonjeff
with 5 pts tonight, Rathbone is now a point per game player in 23 career AHL games. Might be worth another look by offensively-challenged big league Canucks ...
23 games played
5 goals
18 assists
23 points
Gabby had a nice comment about our team and the Boner.
https://canucksarmy.com/2022/02/09/vanc ... ne-longer/The reason we didn't call him up this time is because our strength is defence,
n the end, we'll probably use him, because I've heard a lot of great things about him (Boner).
Gabby was basically indirectly praising JB. JB really addressed organizational depth in goaltending and the D in the offseason. Even though Hamonic hasn't even really played, depth guys like Schenn, Juulsen, Burroughs and even Hunt have stepped up and helped this team.

Jay Woodcroft takes over as Oilers head coach, replacing Dave Tippett.
The Oilers (23-18-3) are five points adrift of the Calgary Flames, who own the second wild-card spot in the Western Conference.
Woodcroft, 45, was promoted from the Oilers' AHL affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors, where he has been head coach since 2018-19.

Freaking pessimist. It's not good enough, not even close. Fat lady hasn't sang just yet but it'll take one hell of a run. We'd have to have no more protocol issues, injuries, team wide brain farts, and some luck with opponents playing like sh*t.Jeff Paterson @patersonjeff
Canucks are .500 on the season (21-21-6)
they are .500 at home (9-9-3)
they are .500 on the road (12-12-3)
they are .500 since the All Star break (1-1)
they are .500 in their last 8 games (3-3-2)
they are .500 in their last 15 games (6-6-3)
they are .500 in last 26 (12-12-2)

Your last line is false. They are 13-6-4 since Bruce took over.

Article carries on...The Arizona Coyotes will share an arena with Arizona State University for at least the next three seasons.
The NHL team announced the agreement with ASU was approved by the Arizona Board of Regents, which oversees the state’s public university system.
According to the Coyotes, the team will play their home games at ASU’s new 5,000-seat arena — scheduled to open in the fall — from 2022-23 through 2024-25, with an option for the 2025-26 campaign. / February 10, 2022, 4:13 PM
