I predict he's a Filip Forsberg clone

I heard mgmt wants to bring him over for next season, so we'll get a better look at him soon and get a better feel of what he can do.

He skates like Boeser, which is why I find the Forsberg comparison odd. Forsberg moves well. This guy is a sloppy skater. Good shot, goes to the net but he makes Tanner Pearson look quick

Forsberg is an offensively skilled forward first and foremost, but is extremely versatile as well. His relentless work ethic, fearless play and hockey IQ make him effective in all three zones. While he won’t go out of his way to make a big hit, like Foppa, he is tough on the puck and embraces being engaged physically on the ice. He has the ability to create for himself offensively as well as delivering crisp and accurately delivered passes.

Although he is an agile and smooth skater, Forsberg himself recognizes he has to work on his first-step quickness and overall speed.

Some proclaim Forsberg to be that leading candidate for “most NHL ready prospect”. I think he’ll undoubtedly make it to the big league, but he’ll likely need a couple of years to get there.

Same height, weight, shot, similar style of game...its a fair comparable

Here is a fair assessment right after he was drafted:

He was a better prospect than his draft position would indicate and had very good metrics. His weakness has been skating but by all accounts hes been working it hard and is starting to reap the rewards. Is he going to be as prolific a scorer as FF? Probably not no but hes a very good prospect I figure and if we dont lose him before June 1 I suspect he makes the opening night roster

Yep a typical Benningbuilt player, not in the NHL

Horvat was a putrid skater as well as the Sedins. Vilardi and Brandt Clarke remain putrid skaters. Karlsson is fine
