I'd like to think if Ben Kuzma could go back, he'd maybe not ask Brock that last question.
Damn, now we know why he had such a bad year...
Edited to add youtube vid.

My initial reaction is suck it up butter cup, but Brock and the team have done an admirable job keeping personal life private.
Would have been awesome for Pettersson to nail Kuzma for the question and then freeze the room with the Alien Death Stare.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Lol...never seen the death stare...very nice.
And yeah, as partisan and disesteemed as it sounds....Boeser has to suck it up.
It's a tough pronouncement.
But it's also true.
You sign the contract for the big bucks.
The expectation is that you live up to it.
Maybe he did and what he gave us is all he had.
Don't know.
Will never know.

Damn, feel bad for the Brockstar. I was pretty hard on him this year, but I guess I'll give him some slack with some of things he has been going through in his life.

Myzy and Schenner going for a drive to Trout Lake in East Van. I know some of us have a soft spot for the area.
Man, Myers played with some good players through his day with the Kelowna Rockets: Schenner, our old buddy Edler, Jamie Benn and Tyson Barrie.

Looks like the Canucks have fired a bunch of their amateur scouts. Re-building another section of the org. Notable that Benning's kid is now unemployed too.
Also, read this from an iMac article:
Jim Rutherford and his initial thoughts on Canucks potential, Dec. 13
“My answer, based on 3,000 miles away and having my feet on the ground in Vancouver for 24 hours, is that this group is obviously better than the first 20 games. But I’m not so sure that it may be even a little better than people think.”
Turns out buddy was right. As Blob would likely say - he got the same amount of things right in his first 24 hours as Benning did in his 8 years.
Bears were poked.

This is encouraging news. It seems we have a tough minded person in charge here now who is willing to break some eggs to prepare his particular recipe for success.JelloPuddingPop wrote: ↑Fri May 06, 2022 10:19 am Looks like the Canucks have fired a bunch of their amateur scouts. I miss ol' Jimmy as much as you guys do, but he was a sentimental sonovagun who had a hard time with that side of the job.

Yeah...I've no idea what these dudes have accomplished in their tenure nor whether they deserved to be shit canned or not.
I don't even known who they are other than one is clearly related to the ex GM.
I will say I do appreciate a management team, sports business or otherwise, that is willing to be decisive in their planning and decisions.
....as well as cutthroat as necessary.
