1st overall: Cale Makar (4)
2nd overall: Elias Pettersson (5)
3rd overall: Miro Heiskanen (3)
4th overall Jason Robertson (39)
5th overall: Nico Hischier (1)
6th R. Thomas (20)
7th N. Suzuki (13)

Players picked too high.
Detroit's #9 Rasmussen
Mittelstadt #8 (getting mad better)
Tippet #10 (meh)
Vilardi #11 (coming around)
Patrick bust #2.

Californian, Jason Robertson numbers are insanely high, has 226pts in 205 career NHL games.

This year Robertson just cracked 100pts, has 101pts in 77 games this season. :o

He'll likely pass Hischier in total NHL points next season, but Petey still holds the most points in that draft and should retain that title adding more and more points, the more stronger and experienced he gets.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Man, just looking over that 2017 draft and noticed that we took Kole Lind (33rd), 6 spots b4 J.Robertson. :o

No Necas? Chytil, Norris or Oettinger. All 4 deserve to go higher in a redraft

Glass was picked too high

Speaking of Oettinger, wow that 2017 draft setup the Dallas Stars for years, getting all three Robertson #39th, Heiskanen #4, and Oettinger #26 in that draft.

And to the folks who have concerns about slow skaters...Jason Robertson is a prime time example of; skating can be improved! it's the uber skill and work ethic you should be focused on, that's why Robertson fell deep in the draft, due to skating concerns, now he's fucking all-star, over a 100pts already this season.

Yeah, I think BoHo is a good example too, as skating was a concern for him when he was drafted. While Bo will never s8 smoothy and work those edges like Huggy, he worked on it and now has the foot speed to be a threat on the rush and turnovers.

More often then not though, most players won't improve that much in their skating as their hockey careers progress, guys like Gauncer, Gadjocop come to mind, even BrockStar and the Hockey Gaud a bit too.
